All Points Virgin rollcall

Is anyone besides me doing the double-shot of Radiohead on 8/8 and 8/9 and then coming back here for the second day of Virgin Fest on 8/10?
Big bonus - missing Jack Johnson at both festivals.
Is anyone excited about much at All Points West besides Radiohead? I don't see too much of interest besides Animal Collective, Underworld, Black Angels and Kings of Leon (insert disparaging indie comment about KOL here).

i'm only doing 2 x APW. with lolla the weekend before, and radiohead in camden on the tuesday after, i could use a sunday at home to recoup (and do laundry).
acts to get excited about at APW: i've never seen them perform, but apparently the go! team and mates of state put on good shows. i'm looking forward to the new pornos, they were solid last weekend at siren fest. id catch girl talk if he wasn't on so late (i'll be in position for radiohead at that time). no love for metric?
i agree that APW's line-up isn't jammed packed, but it looks like there will always be at least one band i want to see at all times. on the upside, that means few to no conflicts :D

The two back to back nights of Radiohead alone is enough of a point for me. I have a feeling they are going to do two very different, if not totally different shows. I think they have enough material rehearsed to do so. Anything else is icing on the cake.

no. friday i'm going to see bob dylan at the electric factory.. his voice should be in good shape..first date on summer tour..next night he's in pitt… by the time he gets to virgin fest we'll have full on croak action…
i may check out chuck berry and the silver beats on saturday… sunday i'm going to see bb king
i honestly don't see the big hubbub about radiohead.. they are everything that is wrong with modern rock and roll. i got enough problems in my life..dont' need their adolescent hipster wannabe angst

Posting your opinion twice doesn't make it any more valid :p

have you tried listening to muzak and bubblegum pop? mixed with a little yanni, it's very uplifting.

not really, you-know-who would never admit to seeing dylan, berry or bb king.

i was reading a email from apw and at the bottom it had the logos of its sponsors and i saw that it was sponsored by virgin megastore, wouldnt they rather sponsor virgin fest?
