Of course not. I thought of that example after I posted, but didn't feel like editing that. I guess to give recent examples, I would have gone to Iraq / Afganistan, and Vietnam, although my dad was drafted to Nam and didn't end up there somehow.

What about women being drafted? At this point in our evolution as a society, that should probably be on the table, shouldn't it?
Do any other countries draft women?
