I wonder if his x-wing fighter still makes the sound and his light on the nose lights up. Mine doesn't do that anymore.

But pushing R2D2's head still makes the wings go into attack mode.

I can't remember if the X-Wing did make noise or not, but I guess you're saying it does. I've got the same one. I've also got a Tie Fighter which made noise and the wings popped off too when you hit the side buttons ;)

There were two. You can tell the difference in the picture. See the little blue button towards the back of the body behind R2D2's head. That's the electronic tie fighter (smackie says while pushing up glasses on nose, adjusting pocket protector at the same time). Put in two AA's, and push that button and it makes laser sounds and a little light on the nose flashes. Drove my mom nuts.
