oh, i will be - very very much looking forward to VFest. tix for the RHCP show in philly went on sale long before VFest was even announced, so now i have both… now i have the option of skipping the philly show.

so if the Wilco presale went smoothly does this mean they have oh nevermind….

They have…what? Smoothed out the problems from (most recently) the Justin Timberlake ticket sale?
nah. the wilco presale, while it sold out, was not an instant sell out. as late as 10:15, you could log on and order tickets. for JT, logging on at 10:00.01 didn't guarantee you tix (system error messages), while some managed to get tickets a few minutes later (i.e. the system crapped out from the overload then eventually recoup'ed). that's the prob i would like them to fix - if i'm there on time, please hook me up. seem fair, no?

lame attempt at humour on my part as this is the longest and smoothest any recent Wilco presale has gone in these parts…. now i'm sure they'll sellout out quickly but extrapolating out it will go down with less gnashing of teeth as in the past.
