So you're an alt-country fan?

Furs 2 for 1
I'm getting into Alejandro bigtime thanks to XM…may even get the old wallet out and buy a couple cd's.
Wilco live at the BBC has been on twice this week on the XM Cafe….still utter utter shite!

I recommend 13 years and a man under the influence as great places to start with alejandro, others may, of course, disagree

Ha….the opener for the Furs is The Pleased….the band that opened for Arthur Lee last year.
Seeing them play was so wierd for some reason. I felt bad for them. But Arhur was so freaking great. I wish he'd come back to town.

Damn, if i had only known…I would have given you a cd.
I had a copy of one of his A Man under the influence, and threw it in the garbage out of boredom.
Also have a copy of "With These Hands", which is a little more listenable, thanks in part to a nice Willie Nelson guest spot.
Alejandro also does some good backing vocals on Whiskeytown's Stranger's Almanac/
All in all though, one of my lesser favorite alt-country guys.

I did that with Interpol after two hours of ownership, only I cast it out the window on the Dulles toll road instead of the garbage.
