that'd be awesome, did you like blink-182 chokey?? and i got my tickets  (make fun of my chokey)
If it wasn't on a weeknight I would be there and not for +44, but for the opening band…THE MATCHES!!! Now that is a band I can see again and again.
i think blink 182 was only as big as they were because they were the first to bring pop punk to the mainstream. i really liked their self titled album (or last album, i suppose), and I thought dude ranch was really good, along with enema. everything else was just a big eh.

alec, i make fun of you for one reason, and one reason only: you keep posting about and hyping up these bands that nobody on this board cares about, and most people hate. I just think the fact that you don't see that is funny.
Actually, I credit Green Day for bringing punk into pop music. Blink 182 just had really good management and they were willing to tour like crazy. Though I admit Travis Barker is an ace drummer that carried them much further than they would have gone otherwise. And yes, I've paid money basically just to see him. Call me crazy, but I am just really entertained by a guy who has a personal vendetta against his kit and isn't afraid to hit a snare. He's a legit musician in my book.
(I guess if we want to get technical, we should say it was the Clash that brought punk into pop…but the genre/style of modern "punk" really first became popular with Green Day.)

Travis isn't playing with them, right? I'd read he had a tumor or some broken shit in his arm and is sitting out the shows.
The shows are rescheduled and he will be playing with them once he's healed.

I think my fave punk rock drummers are:

1) John Maher (Buzzcocks)
2) Grant Hart (Husker Du)
3) Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag)
4) Marky Ramone
5) Don Bolles (the Germs)

Travis would come in around 6 or 7.
I heard the single today and it is damn catchy. Might also sound good since that Angels and Airwaves song was such shit.

so what your saying is no one on here likes any of the bands i like? my massive attack post seemed to have gotten tons of responses, tons of people like them..
I didn't say that at all…odds are that tons of people like Blink. Didn't they sell millions of records? I own 2 of them too. I even went to see the Green Day/Blink show at the MCI Center. I have to say that Green Day were way more fun though :)
I liked Blink 182.
