I haven't got to the point for trawling reviews. What point are you at?
not sure exactly which point I'm at - I am seriously considering working for Best Buy for a couple of weeks around Xmas to get the discount though!

I like this one, but they all seem to have their pros and cons and prices are likely to come down alot this year - the 50" Pioneer was 10k at Best Buy last year and is now down below 8k I think

Ideally I could do with something smaller, but a 26 inch LCD is as expensive as a plasma. But LCD prices are falling all the time. I guess I will hang on for another year and see what has happened then.

ok as much as i detest comcast, using earthlink dsl over a cable modem so they get less of my money, the new in-demand service is quite nice. if you are subscriber to one the premium movie channels you can watch a selection of thier movies any time you want. there's even on demand shorts from channels like atom tv. however, in true comsucks fashion, the system can easily get overloaded and it's impossible to get through the menus and select something to watch…
