Is ANYONE going to Wilco tonight?

My friend wants to see Roots. I'll be hanging out at the 9:32 during their set and then digging Wilco.
And then hating the traffic out of Merriweather.

I was there. Row U, reserved section. Reserved as in people who don't applaud or dance much. I got the impression that a lot of the people I was sitting around had never been to a Wilco concert before or any concert at all for many years. I was really wishing I was down in the pit where people seemed to be having a lot of fun….
Anyway, the show started off a little slow, I thought, compared to the 9:30 Club Wilco shows, but it built in intensity throughout the performance. I got the impression that the set list skewed more towards their older material than the recent 9:30 Club performances? But almost 2.5 hours later(!), another great Wilco show.

I heard some of it from the parking lot across from Merriweather. It sounded like a great show. Wish I would've gone!

Wilco was great but how about a shout out for The Roots? Damn! They've got Vernon Reid on the road with them for about a month and we lucked out. The man is amazing.

Seems like they played for quite a while - 2 1/2 hours?
I was in the very front and was one of those 'reserved' people. My very first Wilco show, even though I have been listening for a while, and I was completely mesmerized - more by Nels Cline and Glenn Kotche than even Tweedy!

wxdude, thank you for posting the set list!
It looked like there were at least three individuals who recorded the show. Hopefully one of those recordings will show up at
http://bt.etree.org/?search=wilco&cat=0 in the next couple of days.

Wasn't able to get to see Wilco at the 9:30 so had to settle for the Meyerhoff and Merriweather. Of course the sound was better at the former but last night's show was great. And Nels IS pretty amazing to watch.

Also my first wilco show, after trying to go for many years and failing.
Lawn section. (I'm a cheap bastard)
got what I paid for. Some dude kept shouting out for the roots at all the quiet points of the main set. After a while I started to become concerned for his safety… yet strangely I didn't really care all that much.
Damn good show though.

I liked the show. Lucked out and bought dead center pit tickets a few days prior to the show.
I have never been that close to a band during a show. Its actually a little awkward to be that close. Not complaining, though.
Did they just not put the Loge on sale? That seemed odd. The lawn was fairly full, but the loge was nearly completely vacant.

FYI, two different recordings of the show have been posted.
