RNR Hotel set times

Can I ask what time the band went on? I'm definitely going to the Long Winters show next Tuesday, so I'm just trying to get an idea of weekday set times at RnR.

Thanks!
sounds like some sets at the R'n'R hotel go on forever

read me!

I think the times posted on the wall at the RnR Hotel were the same as someone posted above:

8:30 - Junior League
9:15 - Say Hi
10:00 - +/-
10:45 - Bishop Allen

hmmm…maybe it said BA at 11:00? Anyway, they were running a little late by the time I got there. SHTYM came on around 9:30. +/- around 10:30. Didn't stay for Bishop Allen.

Biggest Myth About D.C. Nightlife

"H Street isn't safe!"
This came up over and over again in Got Plans? when we'd recommend readers check out concerts at the Rock and Roll Hotel, fish sandwiches at Horace and Dickey's, sword swallowers at the Palace of Wonders – anything in the new H Street corridor. It's not the best-lit street in Washington, and yes, the shuttered buildings can make the place seem spooky at night. But is it really less safe than other areas? I decided to check the crime stats for all incidents occurring within 1,000 feet of some well-known nightlife spots in various neighborhoods between Sept. 15 and Dec. 15. Violent crimes include homicides, assaults and robberies with or without a gun. Property crimes include burglary, thefts (including those from cars) and stolen automobiles.

Incidents Near…

The Rock and Roll Hotel (H Street/Atlas District):
11 violent crimes, 36 property crimes, 47 total incidents.

The 9:30 Club (U Street/Shaw):
23 violent crimes, 54 property crimes, 77 total incidents.

The Black Cat (14th Street):
22 violent crimes, 80 property crimes, 102 total incidents.

Pizza Mart (Adams Morgan):
17 violent crimes, 48 property crimes, 65 total incidents.

Eighteenth Street Lounge (Midtown/Dupont Circle):
5 violent crimes, 64 property crimes, 69 total incidents.

Third Edition (Georgetown):
8 violent crimes, 76 property crimes, 84 total incidents.

That's not bad, certainly not as bad as some folks had lead me to believe (these claims that BA would go on at 12:30!)

While 11:00 isn't optimum (for me) for a headliner during the week, it's totally do-able.

I'll be there for Long Winters next Tuesday, possibly Menomena tomorrow….
sadly, I've only been to the red and the black in the H street neighborhood…but I'm planning on heading over to RNR hotel for long winters (mainly for openers, The broken west) on tuesday…

parking? is it non existent?

I lucked out last year for the red and the black show, got a spot pretty much in front of the club…seems to be too much of a hassle to take metro on a weeknight to get there.
I go pretty often and have always found parking within a block and a half of the club

cool thanks! I usually can't get anyone to go to a weeknight show…so I'm on my own for most of them.
