I went past Rhode Island Ave today and saw alot of hispanics outside by the Home Depot. I think they are manual labor workers looking for a job. If you need to get your house painted or some work done….stop by!
Anyone need manual labor workers????
Maybe you're just stereotyping. Sucks to be you.

Laborers at Home Depot? You don't say!
They might be there tomorrow as well. Potentially for the rest of the year.

Maybe they were a mariachi band.
Or maybe they were Tony Stewart fans. NASCAR has been trying to get Hispanics to tune in.

Those fans are lined up at the Texaco.

In the District, Latino advocates say the Home Depot is the largest day-labor site since one of two paint stores closed at 15th and P streets NW. During the summer, residents say they have seen as many as 200 day laborers at the Home Depot. Residents say police have not acted on their complaints about loitering because the parking lot is private property.

Someone I know went and picked up a day laborer from Home Depot. He bought some green paint and told him to paint his porch, and that he would pay him when he returned from his golf game. Later that day he got back and the porch was just the same but the young chap was covered in green paint. "What have you been doing all day?" he asked the young laborer…"Exactly what you wanted amigo" As he opened the garage door. "I painted it green, but it's not a porch it's a Ferrari"
Whatever, dude. You're an a**hole. If bull had given me the link, I wouldn't tell him he was stereotyping. Asswipe.

I thought it was common knowlege that day laborers gathered at places like Home Depot and Lowes every morning.
Maybe in DC. Not where I'm from.

Alternatively, you could have spent three seconds on Google verifying the situation before lobbing accusations.

ggw, there are some people that I won't take seriously…and bull930 is one of them…
This story says it's a common occurrence in cities across America. link
I see (Hispanic) day laborers outside of 7-11 in Sringfield when I'm up early enough on a Saturday. Are you sure this aint the case in Germantown as well?
