Try www.ontaponline.com for events. There's a few interesting things going on those days. And I'll recommend this belly dance show at Casablanca Restaurant in Alexandria. Sometimes student shows are boring but these dancers have been studying for years so it should be good.
Need help with a weekend in DC.

Everytime I go to NYC or SF or Chicago or LA, I am happy that I live in D.C….
Everytime I go to those cities I wonder how much money it would take to move there.
-Eastern Market in DC is decent.
-Drive to Udvar-Hazy in Chantilly, VA.
-The FDR Memorial has impressed a few friends…I enjoy taking out-of-towners to the Jefferson Mem., or a drive out to Haines Point, down to Roosevelt Island.
-I think you can rent boats / bikes down along the canal in Georgetown.
(Is there still the flea market up Wisconsin Ave. in Georgetown? Or, is that once a month?)

Didn't Eastern Market burn down in the Spring?
