Happy April Fools!

Who's the jokester today? And what you got planned?
My office does one every year to all its employees, and year after year, people fall for it.
I'll be truckin' to the Shusmere tonight for Lobster Boy's Ship of Fools performance. I'll be missing the Iron Chef episode with Jose Andres.

I put post-it notes all over my friends car.
He was annoyed.

lily - how was the lobster boy show? i wanted to go, i know one of the acts, but alas…
a classic joke that never gets old: while someone is away from their Windows computer, download and install the
blue screen of death screensaver. switch the person's scrensaver to the newly installed BSOD, and set the delay time to 1 minute. at some later point the person will walk away and return (or just be talking on the phone, or whatever) to a BSOD - and flip out. but as soon they touch the mouse or a key, the screensaver will disappear (like any screensaver) and all will be normal… until the next time. repeat until they figure out it's a screensaver - for too many a user, this is never.
maybe this one is particularly funny for me since i used to be tech support for a small team…

Remember the year I posed as Post music reviewer David Segal, and had you guys all fooled? That was a good one. Sorry I couldn't think of one this year.

Freedom Du Lac would have been a good one.

very good indeed. and very damn funny. they only filled a good 1/3 of the shushmere, but it was a bigger crowd than what piles in to chief ike's.
love trixie little and hate monkey. absolutely fabulous duo.
