Ipod question 'o the day

So I got a new ipod, love it, blah, blah, blah
BUT
when I'm listening to stuff the screen defaults to showing the time and not the song thats playing which kinda bugs the shit out of me
is there a setting I can tweak to change this?

people who have adhd invented this idea called ipod and the need to listen to a new song after each other song that sounds nothing like the three minutes you had to devote to the last song.

Just have this be the only band on your iPod, and only listen to them in the middle of the afternoon and your problem is solved.

Is "show album art" checked in your iTunes?
If yes, uncheck it, recheck it, then re-sync your iPod.
If no, check it.
