Any feed back from the show? Did they go on on time? How late did they play?
Raconteurs last night
I wasn't there and I didn't listen to it on NPR, but I can tell you they stunk.
HIt the stage almost exactly at 10, opened with Consoler of the Lonely, ended with Blue Veins at 11. Hit the stage about 4 or 5 minutes later, played a 4 song encore
Many Shades of Black
Salute Your Salution
Broken Boy Soldier
Carolina Drama
Off stage at 11:30
It was phenomenal, but they didn't play 5 on the 5, Together, or Attention. Hopefully they'll play it tonight.

Really enjoyed last night's show!
It was on NPR???? Will it be on NPR tonight???
Very good show. Not at all the bland supergroup performance I was expecting. The live setting adds a great deal to the songs. Lots of "rockin' out" moments. That Jack White guy is talented; I think he just might go far in the music biz.
Good to see the Director (and to walk away from the encounter unscathed). Nice to meet callat as well. He seems like a decent fellow for being an evil Live Nation bot.

that was my first time seeing them and i really enjoyed it. it was VERY loud and i was far away from the speakers so take those ear plugs.
i'd skip the black lips, i didnt care for them at all

unfortunately, posters #3 through 7 are wrong. although they were there and actually witnessed the performance, their opinions are null and void. poster #2, charlie, has already dismissed the show out of hand without having heard a single note.

Great show! As for loud, most 930 shows sound too loud to me, this one wasn't any worse. But at least having it loud keeps people from talking through the set.

Can anyone figure out the underlying file reference?

I completely agree that this is a band largely benefited from a live setting. I think they're records are pretty boring, but live, it was definitely a fun time.

Oooooooooh… I missed the null and void part with reference to posters 3-7.
Good show. Brendan Benson looked bored for most of it, but Jack White had enough energy for both.

Black Lips were wayyy better than the first time I saw them too, although they toned down the crazy about 98%.
I was looking forward to some insanity when I saw them at the black cat when they were there last but none was to be found there either. :(
uh, what everyone else said.
what, i should say it myself? okie: raconteurs rocked. the intro/build-up to "level" was insane. i think brandon sang lead more often then jack, which was generally a very good thing. so many solid vocalists on stage last night… impressive. the whole band just oozes talent. i liked their opening set for dylan @ patriot center better, but this was a very solid second.
black lips = forgettable. i'm not convinced anyone in the band actually knows how to play guitar. no insanity, just a lot of noise and some occasional off-key singing.
