Oasis Tour Announced

Oasis have announced details of their comeback tour.

The band will hit the road immediately after releasing their seventh studio album Dig Out Your Soul later this year.

Meanwhile the Wonderwall stars premiered their comeback single The Shock Of The Lightning on radio this morning, immediately provoking fierce online debates.

They kick off on October 7 at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on August 20 and some ticket vendors are predicting that they will get snapped up in record time.

Oasis will play:

Liverpool Echo Arena (October 7, 8)

Sheffield Arena (10, 11)

Birmingham NIA (13, 14) London Wembley Arena (16, 17)

Bournemouth BIC (20, 21)

Cardiff International Arena (23, 24)

Belfast Odyssey Arena (29, 30)

Aberdeen Exhibition Centre (November 1, 2)

Glasgow SECC (4, 5)

Hopefully US dates will follow, but I can assume none for Florida
comeback? didn't they tour in 2005?
Don't those guys use drugs? I have no tolerance for people or bands that engage in such behavior. I sure hope the government denies thier visas and keeps these sorts of dangerous criminals out of the country.

Your attempt at sarcasm makes you just look like an ass.

You're graded 'F' for effort and 'F' for delivery.

The British music press exaggerate everything. Thus if it's been anything more than 10 months since an artist has done anything of note, it's a "comeback".
God they are great live
Hopefully they made enough money off of those AT&T ads to keep them out of the US.
rumours (!) swirling that Oasis will announce dates for next summer, UK stadiums only in Manchester and London (10 shows each).  seems kinda risky to me to announce this far in advance, plenty of time for the Gallaghers to flare up and ruin everything… again.  also, the number of articles that used "definitely, maybe" in their headlines is just disappointing.  official announcement expected tuesday morning.

so, anyone jumping on a plane if they score tickets?

edit: already noted in the other thread, nevermind… i just got back from vacation so still catching up
Saw Oasis for $5 at the old club…going to be tough to justify any sort of crazy ass ticket prices that a tour will bring. I think I saw them at WUST for like $15? Maybe $20?

I remember when Frank Gallagher commented on my wife's ass on this forum.
Saw Oasis twice for free.  Had a friend that LOVED them, and would always buy too many tickets to shows and the give them away for nothing.  Wouldn't even take a beer…you had to trick him into letting you buy him something.
Oasis played my backyard in McLean. They paid us $10,000 and used it as a rehearsal space.
He was a great guy ton know.  Saw AC/DC, Ozzfest (Slayer,  Sabbath, Slipknot in the side stage), Deftones, probably a dozen other shows on his dime.
Space wants his name, number, facebook account, etc. IMMEDIATELY!!!

"More world tour dates to be announced"

(Glasto is 26-30 June… so timing would work for a first show)
A bunch of dates announced a photo of the brothers together, yet no mention of who is in the band.  No plans to record new material… might as well call this the  20 Million Quid Settlement tour, as that’s what Noel just forked out to his ex-wife

And likely very strong demand for those Cardiff tickets
