The MLS season is going to start this Saturday. DC United is again the favorites to win it all this year. Their home opener is on April 14th at RFK.


Anyone care besides me?

emilio and fred should be interesting. i havent seen fred yet, but emilio looks pretty great so far. bummed that alecko is gone though. i liked his funny hat

I have decided to make an effort to watch every MLS game on TV that's broadcast in HD. I wonder how long I'll last…

I caught a few United games when I was still living back there and was even given a jersey from the team, so I suppose I would have to support United.

But I'm not even going to only watch United games. There's a new Thursday night MLS game every week that I'm going to try to work into my schedule and I'm looking forward to seeing Becks again now that he doesn't have Seimens on his chest.

Unfortunately, the DC United guy who gave me the jersey was someone I would talk soccer with at the P's when I was working there - he was regular and come in after games and shoot the shit. I think it's a #6, but I don't remember. Too bad I am no longer in touch with him.

I've had season tickets in the past, but am going the individual ticket route this year. Missed to many games due to conflicts. BUT, I'm excited for the season to get underway!!!
