OK, I know it's a litte early. Please excuse my request…

I'm being sent out of town for work next week, and am livid that I'll be missing a mess of great shows. Among them is the Pedro the Lion/John Vanderslice show. Pedro the Lion has a tour-only EP that features his covers of Cat Power and Radiohead songs that I really really want… but I can't be at the show.

Is anyone planning on going to this? Can I give someone $$$ to pick this EP up for me?

Which Cat Power song?

I used to love Pedro the Lion in the It's Hard to Find a Friend days, but he really lost me with Control. I miss the relative understatedness and subtlety of IHTFAF. Oh well. His live cover of "Let Down" is great.
