coldplay?

yeah whatever. i'd like to see them again. i'd much rather see them live than listen to an album. don't know why. 9:30 got a promo show in 2002. there's a bunch of down time in early may for them (coachella 4/30, toronto 5/11, hfstival 5/14). they're playing in toronto while i'm going to be in toronto, so i guess i'll try to get tickets, but any chance of them playing here? not optimistic about my chances of getting tickets there, plus i was originally planning to see autechre that night.. and the opera house (autechre) is way better than the koolhaus (coldplay).

from the one date listed on ticketmaster for the late summer tour, the ticket price range is $49-$69, which is basically double the cost of the last tour. i'm not willing to pay that much so i figure the promo shows are my only shot at seeing them for a reasonable price… at least before the "let's take the yuppies for all they're worth" tour.

oh yeah.. if there's going to be a dc date, it'd better be while i'm NOT in toronto. haha. won't do me any good if there is one and i'm not even in the country.

my luck with tickets has run out. i got shut out for toronto. guess i'll have to "settle for" my previous plan of seeing autechre @ the opera house that night instead. no complaints about that.
