best new bands of the year were way, way better back when i was a teenager. plus, the entertainment tastes of the general public didn't suck back then.

I saw them play at the Birchmere for free. Said they came for the food.

The after-party at BEN'S CHILI BOWL was pretty good, too.

I saw their cd for 50 cents during the Tower Records liquidation sale. Went back the next day hoping to get it for a quarter but they were all out. Oh well.
