i'm working this show. if you like abrasive electronic noise, make sure you get there early for otto von schirach, who played the talking head last november. we rarely get that kind of stuff at the 9:30. a friend of mine saw skinny puppy in seattle this week and said they far exceeded expectations.

i'm there…i saw them on the last rights tour and they were amazing….can't wait to see them again.

that is awesome, and thanks for the info about otto van schirach! if skinny puppy plays tin omen and/or first aid, it's already worth the price of admission to me!

it is impossible to compare skinny puppy to anyone b/c they are just the best friggin' industrial band to ever walk the face of this giant blue marble we call earth. but seriously, if u like bands like pigface, ministry, etc. then you'll like these guys, too.

Ok everyone around here knows Ministry is one of my top favorite three bands ever. So now I'm really thinking about going.

i'd describe skinny puppy as a soundtrack for a torture chamber. but its hard to say any one thing, as they've been around for 20 years and their sound has evolved considerably. early stuff like 'cleanse fold and manipulate' is along the lines of nitzer ebb-type dance tracks. later records like 'rabies' and 'last rites' are more compositions than straight up songs.

Classic, I love it! Though I could only stomach the first page, I'd imagine it got a lot worse.
