This is odd. The photo they use is from the Shellac show, certainly not the most playboy-ish band. Todd Trainer wears multiple blouses. Playmates, none.

I tell ya, a Playboy endorsement is not a good thing for a club. After Playboy named Madam's Organ, which used to be a pretty cool place, as one of the top 25 bars in America, it was overrun by… well, by the type of people who would take a Playboy endorsement seriously.

I've been to the Black Cat numerous times. Heck, there were shows at the Black Cat for that I made events for this website. My next event is the Exit Clov show on January 20th. As for the playboy article, I'll file this under the "Another Meaningless Top 10 List" department.
