Pixies Pre-sale

Ticketmaster is reporting that the Pixies 9:30 presale is this Friday (April 29) from 10-10. Although I've made repeated requests to join the 9:30 mailing list, I still have not received anything. Sooo, I was wondering if some kind person out there might be so kind as to PM the presale password to me (or post it, but I know that can be contentious). I'd be very grateful!!!

I also visited KCRW.Com (the other sponsor offering a presale to the show) a few days ago to see about subscribing so as to get the presale password from them, but it seems you have to pay to subscribe to their mailing list, which I'm not too excited about.

Sorry, I'm an idiot, I checked again and it IS possible to sign up for free to the KCRW.Com mailing list (although it's still probably too late to get the Pixies presale password). If you're interested, go to KCRW.Com and click where it says "KCRW Email Updates/Sign Up Here". I was originally clicking above that where it says "subscribe", which is the thing you have to pay for - the email update is free.

send an email to andi@930.com and you'll be on the email list.

I'm in the "need the password" club as well! I thought I was on the 930 mailing list, but I guess not, as I didn't hear anything…

Count me in on the 'desperate for a pre-sale password' list. Thought I was on the mailing list too but I can't find a copy anywhere. :(

i have decided on going to 3 Doors Down instead of the Pixies…

Great….logged on right at 10 and used the presale……tickets were STARTING in the double digits for the main pavilion….I nabbed 2 and then kept going back on to see what was available and the system was giving me BETTER ticks as the presale continued!……What the hell??…..So,the secret is not to order right away??……Wait 10 or 15 minutes??……Crazy…..

for some odd reason i thought yesterday was friday… this is what happens when you stay home sick and play gamecube for two days..

and the last pixies presale went oddly too….

I thought the presale went very smoothly. Probably because there are a lot more available seats at MPP than at the 9:30.

I had the same experience as Jonas, but I was going for floor seats or bust and just kept searching until I got them. There seemed to be a lot of good seats available.

If you try again tomorrow morning during the regular sale you probably have a decent chance of getting pit tickets.

Yeah, last time they played, I tried 4 or 5 hours after the presale started and wound up with row 6 seats.

GGW, I think I remember you needing a ticket to the Decemberists show…is that true? Cuz I've got one.
