Go to the Crown theatres in Annapolis Mall. It might be your only shot (or wait for it to open in Wilmington, if it does - I'm sure the Pentagon won't allow it in Dover!). But go early; Annapolis is fairly conservative and the showing I saw sold out.

-sold out matinee show
-3 uniformed police officers present (to keep the peace)
-2 mom types ran out crying (brief gory scenes)
-i cried twice (not for the gory sh*t, though)
-got a 5 minute standing ovation

…even the sailors & cops were applauding

this country is in the midst of a crisis without historical precedence.

this film presents facts that have been legally documented (otherwise moore would be liable for slander) , along w/ moore's personal parody of bush, jr via his silliest news excerpts. he unquestionably makes fun of bush's learning disorders & speech pathologies - OK to classify this portion of the film as democratic rhetoric.

but one simply cannot deny the facts presented. to do so would be politically irresponsible, wreckless & ignorant.

i was stranded in france during 9/11 and was prohibited from re-entering the usa for 7 days, so i don't know where you got the 9/14 date from.

i'm not for one side or the other- but the manner in which right wingers are working feverishly to keep this film from being seen - REALLY made me wanna see it.

Today is the nationwide premiere of Michael Moore's new movie "Fahrenheit 9/11" â?? an analysis of how the president misled the country to war in Iraq and how the Bush-Saudi relationship has compromised America's national security. Even before the movie was public, the White House and its right-wing allies sought to smear both the film and Moore personally. Last month, White House communications director Dan Bartlett said the movie "was so outrageously false it's not even worth comment," even though he had not yet seen the film. Meanwhile, the Hollywood Reporter discovered that "big-time conservative donors" are funding a slew of anti-Moore activities. Following the White House's tactic of attacking critics' patriotism, the right-wing is also apparently bankrolling a movie called "Michael Moore Hates America." But despite conservatives' best efforts to discredit the film, the NY Times notes, "central assertions of fact in 'Fahrenheit 9/11' are supported by the public record." When the movie was aired at the Cannes Film Festival, it won top prize from a panel made up of mostly American and British judges.
