take out one word ("bland") and i'd think all of that is pretty damn objective … rage was political, soundgarden had arty excess, and both of those qualities have been smoothed out for audioslave, which unabashadly makes mainstream corporate rock
again, music is completely personal, most rock fans obviously like mainstream corporate rock, and more power to them … what's your big beef about that short paragraph?
