this was released to rueters this morning: that bin laden has died due to typhoid fever. interesting. does that mean the disease gets the twenty-five million dollar reward?

There is one source, a leaked French intel report, which speculates that he might be dead. But there certainly is no confirmation that it's true.

If he did die, it's good the world is rid of his scourge, but it also means he got off far too easy. He deserved to spend the rest of his days in general population of some notoriously harsh American prison.

Anyway, on to the rest of these guys.

I guess it would be good if it was true, even though it will ultimately make no difference whatsoever.

I bet Osama will be proven to be alive after the mid-term elections are over.

I also predict another elevated "Terror Alert" just prior to the election.

I think if they were rumoring him dead for election purposes, there would've been more fanfare… but yeah, I also think terror alerts are going to go through the roof.
