Fri July 15 – Robbers on High Street at Mercury Lounge

Sat July 16 – Ambulance LTD / Brendan Benson / Q and Not U / Spoon / The Dears and some other crap bands at Siren Festival in Coney Island

should be an exhausting/drunken few days, it sure is nice to be retired.

Yo I'm planning to be at that Siren Festival, Mates of State happy times! And Q and Not U is playing a free show in town too, double Q and Not U, double the fun!
And I've never been to Coney Island and don't have a place to stay just yet, hmm…..this is some good preplanning
i can't seem to find that thread about NYC dj nights … looking for mainstream indie pop/rock/hip-hop a la liberation dance party … any ideas?

i was going on tour with Dinosaur Jr for the week and go from Philly to NYC to Montreal to Toronto, but cancelled, and now i am just going to Siren. but we are just driving up early and going home afterwards. no hotel. its not such a bad drive, especially on the way home.

4 hours tops. :) just a suggestion.
