I heard the news that Radiohead is coming to DC this summer. But I also heard a rumor that they were going to be playing at Nissan Pavilion (gag). Can anyone confirm this? I really don't want to have to sit in traffic at Nissan.

So far, odds are on Verizon in May.
I'd rather hop a plane to anywhere than trek to Nissan to see Radiohead. The last time I went there it took 3 hours (2 of which were the last mile). PLEASE tell me they're playing Merriweather, or any where else in D.C. Not Nissan, please!

i had no problems getting good tickets for any of the radiohead shows i've tried to get tickets for from the three tours… and i've gotten tickets for a minimum of three shows in 01/03/06.

There should definitely be some sort of Bull Run veterans association. I'll never forget Thatguy coming out to announce that the show had been canceled and stripped off his shirt to look badass and keep people from having any kind of riot. Fortunately I was spared since I was supposed to go the second day, but I remember that downpour, it was unreal. Yeah, 7 years ago…good times.

Let's just say that for those of us that got there at 10 am in the 90 degree heat w/ people being carted away for sunstroke at the rate of about 2-3 every hour followed by monsoon-style rain that created a lake nearly waist deep in places where all of us parked, irony doesn't even begin to describe it.
there are four fucking ways to get into nissan; learn the back ways and quit bitching about how to get there you pansy fucking city slickers.
