I caught the Leno performance, but didn't see the Letterman performance from last night (although it could have been a rerun of the "Very Loud" performance from a month ago). I'll have to check the TiVo when I get home.
"Comeback" is not my favorite song on the album, but they sounded alright doing it on Leno. Lettermans "Very Loud" performance convinced me to buy the album in lieu of the 3-4 downloaded tracks I had. I'm looking forward to hearing "100 Degrees" live next week. Love that song!

I saw Letterman – it was a repeat from about a month ago with crazy Katie Holmes.
I think I need to sample some S.O.L.s….

Vansmack, that indie compilation album series is great. Have you ever seen another one in that vein; "The Weekender"? Loads of British bands from the late 80's/90's. Probably my favorite compilation album of all time!
Really liking at the moment:
White Stripes
22-20's
Athlete
Chemical Brothers
Gorrilaz
Kaiser Chiefs
Razorlight (I know it's from last year but i only got it a few months ago!)
Coldplay's X and Y is growing on me
BTW, is anyone going to the Embrace concert in August?

Thanks. I'll be sure to let my sister know that you all approve of her choice of gift. Of course my instructions to her were to bring me back some new indie music and this is what I got. I'm not complaining - I do enjoy the mix - but it's hardly new.
I did see the compilation at Tower Records over the weekend, selling for about $40 though. That's a bit steep.

I think the opener was actually Longwave. I also get the two mixed up all the time.

you can add The Posies - "Every Kind of Light" to the list… it serves as the lost record between "Dear 23" and "Frosting on the Beater"

I guess me saying the new System Of A Down cd would not be a very popular choice.

hey hammerexile, that weekender comp is pretty good, I could have done without the Jesus Jones though. My only question is why didnt' they include to the song Weekender by Flowered Up.
