DAM! Fest Pre-Party / Exit Clov / Dirty on Purpose
Obviously I will be there. It is a pretty slow night in terms of DC music, so I'm hoping some of you slackers show up. Also, it is the CD release party for Exit Clov's new EP, Respond Respond, a good time to support a band.
And, you will be able to donate instruments or money to Chime, a DC based charity that works to aid DC public school music programs, of which nearly all in DC are suffering. We'll be doing this for the entire festival, but why not help us start out with bang? Plus Geologist from Animal Collective will be ipod spinning all night, and Dirty on Purpose will be there. All you too cool for school hipsters who are "above" Exit Clov can still feel good about going.

Went to this show. Exit Clov was very good and the first act, The Dance Party, was a ton of fun. Sound was less than good. I still haven't found a spot in the room where it sounds good. I'm sure time and money will fix that though.

Went to this show. Exit Clov was very good and the first act, The Dance Party, was a ton of fun. Sound was less than good. I still haven't found a spot in the room where it sounds good. I'm sure time and money will fix that though.
