What is the rumor? I'm assuming a SM & TJ show at the 9:30? When is the rumored date?

Do you guys really think this will sell out? Malkmus is sorta a hack now..

at Pitchfork this past summer he was mostly solo and quite engaging.

He did bring out bob s. to drum for a little bit and the crowd went nutty thinking there might be some pavementy stuff, but no.

i think that was one of the highlights of pitchfork for me.

While we're all gathered here, I'd figure I'd ask this: Is his first name pronounced like "Steven" or is it "SteFFen?" I've heard both used.

I think "Steven," because I've heard him go by the nick "Steve." (on bootlegs and such…I don't know the man, or his moustache, personally…)

Malkmus/Matador Add Extras to Trash Pre-Order

Stephen Malkmus & the Jicks' forthcoming Real Emotional Trash will mark their very own entry in Matador's "Buy Early Get Now" pre-order program, which has previously deluxe-ified albums by the New Pornographers, Yo La Tengo, the Ponys, and some band called Pavement.
