ok - so I logged on exactly at 12pm EST sharp… and still couldn't get my hand on a ticket. Should I expect any different tomorrow at 5, or is this the way it goes over a tickets.com? I'm sure most of the people on the website this morning were brokers, what a low-down dirty shame!

same here, i kept getting too much traffic to deal with my transaction errors, and then when i didn't finally i got sorry we don't have tickets in your quantity and section, try something else, except i was doing 1 ticket in GA… frustrating

Yup, same here! Total BS!!! How the hell can you get on the page the same second it opens up and not get tickets? What's the point of the pre-sale? Hopefully they still will have tickets tomm, but, those will prob get snatched by scalpers too. Don't even know how they do it! I've been going to the 9:30 Club since the mid-eighties and this is the first time I've ever been pissed off. :mad:

same for me what a disappointment i logged in at 12sharp and kept telling me it was busy too many transactions and then no more tickets (2 mins after noon) kind of beats the purpose of a presale…im worried it'll be the same tomorrow now or even worse…it's a shame i've had good experiences with the 9.30 club in the past, but it's shameful if ppl are selling tickets for 100 bucks on ebay. i really hope the club adds another date!!!!

Same here…I tried and tried over 100 times to buy just 2 tickets and now they are all gone. You know that even though they have the number encryption that several of those brokers use imitation software and can read the numbers. How sad for the 9:30 Club. I guess I will stop going to the shows. Too bad…it was one of the best clubs around.

might i point out the following taken directly from the 9:30 email…

"Tickets will go instantly, as this is your only chance to see wattage this big in a venue this small."

A presale doesn't ensure a ticket, it is merely an attempt to give a smaller number of people a shot at getting a limited amount of tickets before the regular sale. Unfortunately as with a normal sale, it allows those intent on profiting at the expense of those willing to pay large amounts of money to obtain tickets to a hot show too.

This presale was bullshit. Were there only 50 tickets up for this bitch?

Here's a suggestion, instead of complaining here, why not on the Audioslave forum. Clearily it was the decision of the band and thier management to play smaller venues on this tour.

hey, are tickets only available online? if I swing by the box office tomorrow (say 4:55 ish), any greater chance to score tix?

The DC101 presale was originally intended for member of their Loyal Listeners forum on their site. Then some asshole DJ announced the password (that only Loyal Listeners should have known) over the air Tuesday night.

I like everyone else didn't get tix. Same problems occurred. Kept putting in for two tix and they would say either decrease number request or some other problem. Yes it was aggravating, especially because I don't think any numbers you have to enter (tickets.com) or weird vocabulary (ticketbastard) actually hinder scalpers. I don't see how they can. But I will try tomorrow on-line. If anyone is actually going by the club to try, let me know, and maybe you can pick two up for me. :D
