What's the opposite of "good"?

Absolutely terrible…

Last night was a great, but way too short.

Played an hour set with a two song encore.

Pretty weak IMO.

And they seemed to be selling well.
There may be a few left from last night.
The posters tonight are the silver versions. I will have a few of the silver on white paper available. the gold and white ones sold immediately last night.

So no one liked the Noisettes? Advise skipping them tonight?
I didn't mind them.

They weren't horrible, but I would skip them. They had one good song (the third one), mixed in with a lot of Gwen Stefani-wannabe facial expressions and jumping around antics by the lead chick. There is no way in hell that she wasn't the captain of the drama club in high school.
apparently the lead singer is related to Grace Jones.
Best Overheard Line of the Night:

Scene: Outside the club; two dudes are attempting to sell some tickets.

Dude #1: Man, this sucks. Iâ??ve been here for like half-an-hour.
Dude #2: Yeah. Young professionals must buy all their tickets ahead of time.
Dude #1: Fuckinâ?? yuppiesâ?¦
Well, I got there well after 9pm hoping to miss most of the Noisettes but still get a good position for TVOTR. I think they must have gone on later than they did Wednesday night though, because I ended up seeing way more of the Noisettes than I would have liked. I agree with ggw's assessment: Not horrible, but not good either. Their performance and stage presence varied from mediocre to awful. But I did get a really good position, dead center about 20 feet from the stage, so it was worth getting there when I did.

TV on the Radio was absolutely fantastic! One of the best concerts I've attended so far this year. For my money, this show was an order of magnitude better than their shows at the 9:30 Club and Sonar last October. Everything about this show better: The lighting was better, the sound was better, the performance was better, the song arrangements were better, the audience was better, and they were more energetic and receptive to the audience. I couldn't be happier. This was really a resurgence of TV on the Radio, possibly even surpassing their landmark performances from early 2004. My only gripe: Where was NPR on this? Man, I wish All Songs Considered had recorded tonight's show for posterity.

So they only did two songs in the encore on Wednesday? They did three tonight….

what Darth Ed said, wow, what a performance - amazing sound, easily the best show of the year for me, their songs are completely transformed live - a borderline religous experience!
I caught the last few notes of the Noisettes and I have to say that their music is quite forgettable.

TVOTR, on the other hand, just slayed!!! They were good last October but I was also half-dead and didn't enjoy the performance as a result of the late start. I had my earplugs on this time but sorry sweetcell, I had to take it off during "Dreams", "Staring at the Sun" and "Wolf Like Me" :)

I wish they played "Poppy" and "Ambulance" though, but in the end it didn't matter. I was all smiles after the show. You know the feeling after an orgasm? mmmmmmmmmmm
I'm almost sure there was something between "A Method" and "Staring At The Sun" wednesday but forget what it was. But yeah; the show wednesday was transidental as well. Dave's playing is so minimal but pretty much gives the band the unique sound they have. Standing right in front of his amp without protection was worth the permanent damage. ;)
I was handing out Cedars promo copies…anybody get one :)
Anyone that missed out on the posters last night, I have one add already up.

TV on the Radio Posters - Black/Gold & Black/Silver for $20

I'll have a few more adds for the White varients, and a package deal for all 6 posters 2 on black, 2 on White and 2 a rare midnight blue color. I'll post those later today.
I got a Cedars CD…thanks. It's a pretty good CD; I enjoyed them when they opened for Editors last year.

Does anyone have TVOTR's set list from the Wednesday show?

Is this new stuff? Or tracks from the last cd?
