10 Questions for Bono

how does anyone here actually know whether or not Bono is arrogant? All you have are media reports and impressions. I've hung out with him from time to time, even suggested some of the themes for the last CD, and by and large he's good people.

DD, you're such a fine specimen of humanity. A true person of taste. I'm sure that everyone on this bboard is just dying for an invite to come over to your place and suck your dick. Would you please tell the sun to come out again?

Will the Canadians do the same if Canada changes its policies? I doubt it.

Ever wondered why Canada has a buzz about it right now in terms of indie art (music, tv and design art)? Their gov supports the arts and gives the artists incentives and tax breaks. The country is finally reaping the benefits on a global level, and good for them. We should be replicating these policies here.

For every one U2, there's 1000 other struggling artists who need the breaks. I'd be willing ot bet that the Irish gov thinks of U2 as a success story for one of it's policies, not as a bad move as you folks make it out to be.
Helping to support a lot of struggling artists is one thing.

Allowing one uber rich band to get away tax free is a totally different story, especially when that one band is so quick to tell everyone else what to do with theirs.

You're right Jag. Ireland should make a tax exception for U2. Thank you William of Orange. Why don't you just tear up their Consitution guaranteeing each Irish citizen to be equal under the law?

Then I want to be equal to U2 and not have to pay taxes!

(And thank you Jag for being the only person to actually understand why I have a problem with Bono and his preaching crap)

Are you serious?!

Cheers

DJ Medusa.

(I'm jealous if you *are* serious - damn he's hot).
Bono will be getting the HardRock Cafe's "We Care A Lot" award simultaneously, as well as a gift certificate from Neimann-Marcus for a box of spider-silk hankerchiefs.
