Ween 9:30 Club 6/10???

Ween's touring company is posting on their website that they'll be @ 9:30 club on Thurs. June 10th.

Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks
Yes, I can confirm that their touring company is indeed posting on their website that they will be at the 9:30 Club on June 10.
This could be great news – as it would provide another opportunity to combine the cover of that one Ween album with that one Black Crowes album.
oh this is brilliant. . .

may 2, they are playing the atlanta mid-town festival. . .their performance is at 5:30-6:30 on may 2 . .who plays next?? reo speedwagon at 7:00-8:00 . . .and after the speedwagon? journey at 8:30-9:00. that's a great evening of music. . .journey not your cup o'tea? well, jessica simpson is on at the same time.

I dunno, I think Ween are in synch with the whole Classic Rock thing. I have two live Ween shows on CD, on one they do Band On The Run and the other has Hot For Teacher on it
I'd sort of agree and disagree. While they can pull out a sound that doesn't strike them as misfits from such a bill (by the way, their cover of Enter Sandman at the last 9:30 gig was intense), I don't think a band that plays Touch My Tooter or Poopship Destroyer belongs anywhere near Journey (and there ain't nothing wrong with Journey).

Ah, the many faces of Ween. Just another reason why I love them so…

so how full was 930 when they played there?
The last time was sold out, if I remember correctly. People were out on the streets looking for tickets. The last time they played in the area, though, was at Recher about 2 years ago, I think. That was sold out too, as I remember.

Classic rock would qualify as some of the rare cover appearances they do. They have such a large library of music they rarely cover other groups.

As far as past 9:30 shows, the show from 1/2/1999 is the best ever. Awesome versions of Frank, Tender Situation, and a cover of 1999. Awesome show.
I have the Ween country album. Nice job by the backing folks, but Ween aint really that believable doing country. Souns kinda jokey.
