Wedding Crashers

Where is that review from, Rhett?

I agree on the foul-mouthed grandma and the evil fiance, though the football scene with him is hysterical (though an easy joke), mostly because of Vaughn.
Vansmack's own San Francisco Chronicle.

So I gotta ask…was there a nude scene featuring Jane Seymour? That would make it worth renting the dvd.

Not really…you can call it a nude scene, but no Seymour nipple.
Like the rest of you, I loved the movie. Laughed all the way through. Vince's monologue about dating at the beginning was hilarious. And then it just continued on from there…

Only the Chronicle could claim that a movie like "Wedding Crashers" wasn't funny enough.

We're such perfectionists out here….

So does Flawd.
I'm not surprised. While sometimes I find it a bit disturbing, most of the time I find flawd quite humerous.

You're just jealous that he's funnier than you without any effort.
Interesting tidbit from Entertainment Weekly – Owen was paid $10 million and Vince $3 million for the movie. Deals were made after Owen is coming off Armageddon, Shanghai Noon and Shanghai Knights, Meet the Parents and an oscar nod for screenwriting The Royal Tenenbaums.

Vince is coming off of Return to Paradise, Clay Pigeons and Psycho (and pre-release of Dodgeball or Old School).
There's little doubt that Swingers was Vince Vaughn's Brady Andersonesque 50 HR Season.

Is that Mandarin or Cantonese you are speaking?
He means that was the one killer performance that Vince inexpicably rose above his career full of mediocrity, only to plummet back into mediocrity quickly thereafter.

Sort of. You don't make it to the bigs by being mediocre. And you don't enjoy a long career by being mediocre either.

There's a role for him in the bigs, but it's becoming more and more clear that the fans will never enjoy a performance by vince Vaugh as much as his Swingers performance. That was his best performance, that's all I was saying Bags, likely never to be repeated. But that performance was magical.
I was comparing Brady Anderson to other major leaguers. Obviously, he has more talent than anybody on the company softball team, given that he was a major leaguer. But then again, you wouldn't compare Vince Vaughn to the actors in your local dinner theater.

In 15 seasons, Brady averaged 11 hr, 51 rbi and 20 sb per season, with a career average of .256. While his longevity is admirable, his career stats hardly rise above medocrity, particularly is you take out his one 50 hr, 110 rbi, .297 avg year.

He won a couple Gold Gloves too, he wasn't a one dimensional player. Did he ever live up to expectations? No.

When you're dealt by the Red Sox with Curt Schilling for Mike Boddiker, thats a lot of pressure. It's amazing it took the Sox 86 years to win a title.
But I guess the real question is: Did he wear flip flops when hanging out in the gay bars of Baltimore shooting his steroids?

Like Tom Cruise with Mimi Rogers/Nicole Kidman/Kate (don't call me katie) Holmes?
A girl I know briefly dated Brady. She confirmed that he plays from both sides of the plate.
i really liked the movie, great writing, great delivery, really funny … only things that didn't work were the gay son / art school character (they never really did anything with him, and what they did do wasn't really funny), and the hollywood ending, of course
