Virginia Coalition sold out? I saw them by mistake two years ago (I was at that show to see the opening band, Foxtrot Zulu, a great group of musicians from Rhode Island), and I thought they were terrible! What a bad taste this city can sometimes have!

i believe they are local and it is a cd release party

the typical dave matthews/guster/new john mayer crowd are fans of VaCo i think. they are local and for some reason are thought to be the best thing ever. i think….not so much. but at least they'll get drunk and partially remember the mediocre time they had.

They have been pulling in a bunch their last couple times at the club. They bring a party crowd, and do play originals. Agree they are in the DMB/Mayer vein, not really my thing, but much better than LSMJ or Dispatch.
