What I said is that so far I can't support it because I haven't been able to see a good show by a local band. However, I have only seen two local bands. Based on such a small sample, I wouldn't generalize. If there is a band in DC that sounds like the Pixies, Breeders, Pavement, Teenage Fanclub, Yo la Tengo, Grandaddy or any other similar band, then I do support local music.
