Here is the final version of The Decemberists poster for the two shows in October. The 9:30 now has them so hopefully you will see them floating around. There are a few available (about 15) if you head over to
El Jefe Design. Can't wait for the show, should be good.

Hey, thank you.
I'll be showing off the posters at the Small Press Expo (
www.spxpo.com) next weekend if anyone wants to pick one up in person.

Nice looking poster. Just ordered that and the Wolf Parade poster (that was a great show too, as I recall).

Sorry I couldn't make the expo, but I just ordered a Decemberist poster from your site. I really like your designs, El Jefe. Keep it up!

Thank you for ordering and for the really nice people at the expo who purchased some. I am down to just a few left, around ten or so.
I was also showing the latest poster for The Detroit Cobras which will be up next week.

I long for the days when a Decemberists show meant most of the first two albums. Its a long show when you are listening to all the slow songs from Picaresque and The Crane Wife. I think I will skip tomorrows show.

What's this song from?
And with two songs over 10 minutes on the new album, I'm guessing I'll never get to hear "The Tain" live. :(

They played it at the Black Cat gig. The first on the mainstage, right?

yeah, and at the first 9:30 show, I loved it live, most people disagreed I think, but it was definitely better than the long ass track 2 from the crane wife live
i havent checked to see the second portland show setlist (the one I skipped last night) but I am guessing there was no July July, Legionairres Lament, Billy Liar, Apology Song, Chimbly Sweep or any of the other ones I would absolutely want to hear

The actual name is Culling Of The Fold, I think. It's one of those "buy the album on itunes, get an exclusive b-side" songs.

Does anybody know how much they're switching up the playlists, if any, between the first and second nights at the same venue?
