How do Nine Black Alps sound and are their songs any good? I read they supposedly sound a little like Nirvana.

They're all right, but the few songs I've heard by them sound like a lot of the guitar power-pop bands coming out of the UK. When I listen to them, I don't hear Nirvana much. I do hear the sound of Feeder and Stereophonics' new album though. Shot Down and Cosmopolitan are the songs I'd read about and picked up online.

I actually have the album but haven't bothered to touch it in the Winamp play thing but did see a lil bit of their set at Siren and it sounded pretty good, soo much to listen, new Nada Surf!
