second, he's a comic hack that has brought down the mighty stern show for the past two years.
third, is the country that fucked up that dc needs to have comedians at every venue every day of the week now, in some attempt to make us americans laugh at something?
fourth, go see him if you are a homophobe and a racist. (which i why i guess rustyorgan posted it) that is his act in a nutshell. nothing like a racist playing lincoln theatre.

But he is AWESOME in Dirty Work.

actually i thought he was great in boat trip.

i thought he was hilarious on stern.

I paid $5 or less each time I saw Chappelle (UMD and GW).

Lat two years? Artie has been on for about 8 now. and in my opinion, he is the best part of the show. But yeah, those tickets are way too expensive, since his stand up is just ok, not great. I prefer him in sidekick/oneliner/movie roles.

Am I odd that I have never heard of this person?

he was great at the start. a breathe of needed fresh air after jackie, on the show. but when the move to sirius was on, he changed. thought he was better than everybody else. the drug habits increased, the assholiness increased, the truth about being a wind bag hack (that without faggot/n-word jokes, he would have no act) really increased as the truth. the last two years on stern have screamed replace him. with anybody. and you can tell that fred/robin/gary/the back office hate him. he doesn't even want to be there, but hates the fact that without the show he is nothing and could score no other gig. beer league tanked, his live shows suck, his on air antics are boring repeats of the same old, same old. like a fat, dice clay. and he thinks people who blog or post stuff online, like this place, are loser fags who should be put out of their misery. so go see him if you want. i'm sure his racist rants will go over well at lincoln. i would rather see the killers of comedy with shuli/beetlejuice/rev. bob/sal anyday.

Im not going. I just said i liked him on the show. He does have issues, but i dont want him replaced.
Did anybody notice the new guy Bobby on SNL looks almost just like Artie? So since Artie started on Mad TV, maybe this guy will be his replacement.

That was sarcasm by the way. Seriously - You guys really need to pay attention to CONTEXT. He's a comedian on The Howard Stern Show. He's going to be offensive and off-color - that's a given. But to entirely miss that point and call him (and myself) racist? Have fun voting for McCain this Nov.

I don't think he's funny…. Like… At all.

Never really thought Artie was all that funny,maybe when he was teamed with his Buddy Norm,but that's it…..haven't listened to Stern in years…..Jackie was the heart and soul of the radio show and it floundered hard when he left….he was the one who would pass Stern all the questions during the celebrity interviews that were talked about for weeks,he was the one who created the classic bits during the show's heyday….and of course, Robin grates on my nerves and has always been totally useless…..don't think Artie live for 95 clams is something I would pursue…..and as soon as the XM/Sirius deal is done and both are integrated and I'm forced into paying for Stern,I'm disconnecting all 3 receivers I have….

is sarcasm your excuse for the clay aiken/aids comment, as well? and voting is for people who think their vote matters. ever wonder why in other countries, if there is even a sniff of "rigged elections" in the air, they take to streets, almost rioting, demanding that justice be upheld . . . and in this country when it happens (2000/2004) the people just shake their head and wonder what's on tv tonight?
