WOLFMOTHER WEDNESDAY

Has anyboyd re-named this Wednesday "Wolfmother Wednesday"?


I'm getting pretty pumped for the show. Who else is going? Anybody wanna rub each other for a few minutes? Come on.

While I can't say that I'm particularly fond of "Wolfmother", I can say that your vigor and vim remind me a bit of myself as a youth, so enthusiastic about the great pop artists of years ago! Therefore, so be it: let us all officially name tomorrow, April 25th, "Wolfmother Wednesday"!

As far as rubbing on each other, why not?? Lets get crazy! Meet me at glory hole number four (Exxon Truck Stop, Route 50 between DC and Bowie) tomorrow at noon!

i'll be there, can't wait - i've never seen them perform, but have only heard great things about WM's shows. with regards to invitations for rubbing: not sure, i'll be there with the lady (although i'm not sure if that means more, or less, rubbing is to be expected…)

low-grade punk, i'll bet their live show has energy but the music isn't doing much for me. i probably won't worry too much about catching their entire set.

I'm going, and am quite happy about it. I remember when Kurasawa was raving about these guys years ago, and I really wanted to see that last BC show, but didn't. So, right on!

I don't know about that rubbing stuff but I like the sound of that; Wolfmother Wednesday.

Since I'm not a Wolfmother fan, maybe I'll keep the spirit alive by doing some howling to my very favorite lupine band: Lupine Howl. In fact, on my short list of all-time favorite bands.

Speaking of band dedicated days, what about Thursday Thursday? Not a fan of them either but it works. Or is that one just too easy?

They opened the shows back in April of last year and were great. I think you'd like them, ggw. And yes, I'm definitely going to the show. See you there, relaxer!

Wow…sounds like the preshow get together is something you can really get your canines into.

I saw Wolfmother at the V-Fest in Toronto and while their music is okay, the live show is not to be missed. We'll be there!

i might have dropped a suggestion at one point, along the lines "next meetup = wolfmother?". but i'm pretty busy tonight - after work i have a poker/work social thing i need to drop in on out in suburbia, then go home and finish packing, then get to the club at a decent time. i might stick my head in DC9 on my way to the 930, but i doubt that i'll be making it there in time to hang out properly - which should encourage others to actually do so :)
