the logistics of the winner paying the loser should be interesting, since we don't appear to go to the same shows :) maybe i'll have to trek out to a soiree of alt-country, or you'll have to see someone who's sold more than 20,000 albums… or one of us could just fedex the other a bottle of yuenling. in the end, would be about the same price as one at the 930 club.

bully - i was looking to samba, not salsa. didn't find anything that night, so the lady and i stayed in. and i'm not a hater, i'm confused - as to why this averagely talented, average-looking girl shot into the limelight. as far as i can tell, it's because MTV decided she would. you appear tbe so infatuated with her that you can't realize that in a year, no one will know her name (once again). i could be wrong, however, maybe she has staying power… i'm not hooked in to her fanbase. also, it's too easy to yank your chain. you need to grow a skin - not everyone is going to agree with your musical tastes, deal with it.
