All Union flags in Gt. Britain will be flown at half mast for the whole month of February in recognition of the fact that The Beautiful South have split up.

Paul Heaton may have been the brains behind the operation, but I always liked the interplay of the three lead singers in the band. Hopefully, a solo career is in the offing for Mr. Heaton which of course insure he'll never do another date in the US… I'm glad they at least took the financial risk to tour the US one last time, as it was one great show.
