New Tori?...anyone?

Just in case I'm not the only person who still listens to her…thoughts on the new album? I think it's the best since Boys for Pele. Definitely worth a listen.
I'm really liking it! (and I haven't liked the last 4 or 5 studio albums at all)
Looking forward to seeing these live.

No thanks. I'll take the new Feist for $7.99 at Best Buy.

Saw her in the wife's Us Weekly. She looks terrible.
Haven't heard the album though.

The songs I've heard are terrible. Will check out the rest of the songs.

I told my wife your comment, and she said "That's because she's old, and hasn't had the love of a man in years."

Seriously. I used to be a huge Tori fan. I've seen her live more than any other artist. But the 6 songs I have heard are more of the self-indulgent, nonsensical crap that she's been putting out for the past several years. It doesn't make me want to buy the album or pay good money to see her. If someone gave the CD or tickets to me for free, I'd probably take them :) Just don't want to spend my money on it.

Melissa E gave it a10:
Tori is always a 10. She is one of the most under appreciated overly talented artists of our time. She is a genius and her live shows are impeccable . ADP rocks like all the others.

Perhaps if she were raped/molested again it would inspire her muse?

hahaha. That made me laugh out loud. always a 10? impeccable? rocks like all the others? right…
mind you, I've been a big Tori fan for more than a decade, but that woman is in serious need of a producer…someone to give her some direction and make sure the botox isn't going straight to her brain

I really think this album sounds different from the last 3. I have loved her music for a while, but I know she's not everyone's cup of tea.
For the record, she's been married for a while….

I wonder, are there any male artists that get instant cred for saying they were previously molested/raped??? Because you know that's what it is…instant phreakin'cred. Heck, more artists should say it whether it's true or not, just for the emotional appeal.

I think that statement is extremely inappropriate.

The new album is REALLY REALLY good. She's got a sense of humor about things, and she's actually sounding good. Sans two or three songs, I really think it's her strongest in years.
I went to her secret show at Spotlight Live in NYC last Monday and it was remarkable. Cant wait for the Euro shows in June!!
