well one place i know i'm eating more than once is vegetarian haven (formerly health haven over by the airport by mississauga).
i stopped by there again last august on the way back from montreal, but they were closed – the sign said something about some expo or something, but i'm wondering if it had anthing to do with the blackout as well…

dont forget the revolving restaurant in the CN tower….its the world highest retaurant or something
and pretty damn good for a tourist trap :)

hah. i really don't like heights (i don't like driving over the bridge to get to canada even), so i won't be going up there. we thought about going up the first time i went, but i didn't want to pay to go up.. heh

my favourite place to eat in Toronto is Magic Oven Pizza on Jefferson…
or "Nawlins" on KSW (its a jazz club,w/Cajun food, of course)
but everytime i come back theres 5 new restaurants i've never seen before!

Whats funny here is that The Secret Machines are touring with Muse AND Interpol.
perhaps they are switching in Philly as Muse plays with SM on 11/6 and then SM plays with Interpol on 11/7 BOTH at the Electric Factory….thats odd isnt it?

I know it's all about personal taste…but Joy Division doesn't suck. I can appreciate someone saying "I really don't like them". That's cool. There are many artists and bands that don't fit my taste, but I would never, ever say that they suck (Blondie being an example…maybe The Birthday Party, whose music never stuck in my head). Of course, I'm sorry to be nit-picky over the word "suck". I just happen to think Joy Division's music has a passion, spark and creativity that borders is absolute genius. It has a realness to it that comes from 4 people whose passion for music couldn't possibly more genuine. Part of being a music fan for me is recognizing if the talent is there, even if I don't enjoy the end result.

i've actually heard joy division and don't care either way. not my cup of mountain dew code red.
i have seen many of the Good charlotte/new found glory punks wear joy division shirts. its probably because hot topic used to sell them…
