I'm sorry to inform everybody that I suprisingly will not be there this time. I'm sure they will be here in four weeks and I'll get another chance.

I was going to go, but money, time, and the fact that I'm not too big on the new album steered me away.

Is that poking fun or literal?
The guy w/ the glasses creeps me out…and I start to get a little ansy after some of their songs, but I'll be there to at least check out Rhett's solo. Me likes Rhett solo. (Oh, and before anyone gets on my case, I don't normally go to shows just for "certain parts". I'm sure I'll go and enjoy most of it, but for scheduling this particular Sunday, this is how I'm swinging it.)

Is he doing a solo bit during the show? That'd be cool.
I'm going. Only have Satellite Rides and The Instigator, so I'm probably quite the half-assed fan, but I'm checkin' it out.

He did last time. I'm assuming he would again. Rhett will confirm the amount, but I believe he sang/played 4 solo songs [last show].

He will probably do three or so songs, just him and his guitar.
I'm not crazy about him doing solo stuff as part of their show, but as long as he doesn't do ggw's favorite song, "come around", it will be tolerable.
And for whomever was dissing Murry…stop now. His two tracks are two of the best things on the new record, and if it weren't for Murry, Old 97's would probably sound a lot more like Matchbox 20, or a faux Bowie inspired Brit pop band. Rhett may have the looks and the moves, but Murry has all the taste.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever heard a O97's song before. Do they suck?

I wonder if Rhett will have shorter hair?
At the Toronto show he announced that he was "sick of being a hippie, so if anybody knows any good salons, leave the name of the place with Noah the merch guy" so he could get his hair cut on their day off.
