Weirdest/grossest substance you've gotten on you at a s

I guess this is a spinoff of sorts from walkonby's thread since a gross enough substance could lead to a shitty show experience.

At roughly the midpoint of the Alan/Richard Bishop Sun City Girls/Charles Gocher tribute show at the BC in june, Alan Bishop put his hand in a box, pulled out a handful of something and sprinkled it on the crowd. Some of it hit me in the face/got into my hair. Turned out it was the ashes of Charles Gocher; SCG's late drummer. Finding out I had just been hit with charred human flesh did shock/horrify me for a few minutes as I frantically made sure I had brushed it all off but it wasn't enough to ruin a fun and awesome show filled with some of SCG's best and most twistedly hilarious material.

How is anyone supposed to top this. Really.

hit the clarendon grill about 2 years ago with two buddies. we had been in the joint for all of sixty seconds before some chick projectile-vomits on my friend's back. she didn't even apologize, she just ran off to the bathroom. i got a little splatter, he got the direct hit. the look on his face was indescribable - disbelief, indignation, disgust, shock. he ripped off his shirt on the spot, threw it in the trash and walked out. that was all i needed to see of the place, but buddy#2 kept trying to convince us that "it wasn't so bad, give the place a chance". our night was over. being driven home by a topless dude to my place off dupont made me feel a little weird :eek:

still not as disturbing as azahal's story.

The guy from the Legendary Shack Shakers routinely sticks his hand down his pants, rips out his pubic hair, and throws it at the crowd.

a drunk lady pooped her pants at a Nick Cave show and my friends were behind the lady…the rest is history :D

In 1998 I was at a punk concert in northern Chile. For reasons I dont understand, the crowd at punk/heavy metal concerts shows its respect to the band by spitting on them (there have been epic "spit battles" between Mike Patton and the Chilean crowd for that matter). The thing is that I really liked this band Fiskales Ad Hoc, and I secured my spot really near the stage before the show, without knowing that a few minutes later I would be right under a rain of spitting. It was awful, but the concert was great anyway…

I saw the singer for the Dears puking in a stall at the Black Cat whilst complaining of food poisoning. True story. He didn't get any on me, so technically I guess it's pretty lame compared to some of the above stories.

Andre Williams flashed in front of me during a concert…it was not a pretty sight. He opened for JSBX.

I went to a couple Skinny Puppy shows in high school and they had some weird shit thrown out there. i think it was just fake blood and stuffed animals though.

awesome show though. deff in my top 10 of the year.

the only substance to have been thrown on me that slightly (just barely) pissed me off was the bottle of red wine the lead from les savy fav was poring on the audience.

No one's gotten semen on them at a concert? Really?

Oh man, and I bet the venue had no detergent or salt water either to get the stain out. That would PISS me off depending on how fabulously I was dressed.

They tossed a bit of him out at every stop on the tour according to reviews of other shows I've read. Totally fitting way to dispose of his body given his morbid sense of humor; wouldn't be surprised if it was his idea.
The show is in my top 10 of the year as well.

The "Uncle Jim" bit had me laughing harder than I've ever laughed at a show.

azaghal, it would have been better if it landed on your lip and you tasted it :D

off the top of my head, in no particular order, all belonging to other people, and most more often that you would want:

sweat, tears, blood, spit, snot, vomit, semen, urine, feces, sweaty balls on the back of my neck, pig flesh, raw chicken, fried chicken, used tampon.

i'm sure i missed some, but the worst thing that i get on me on a regular basis at shows? glitter. can't get the damn stuff off. everything else washes off.
