The Good, The Bad and The Queen

what you do guys think?

will it sell out?

was kinda shocked that there isnt a presale for these, or maybe they arent a big deal?
with the general hype around them I'd be shocked if it didn't sell out - is the album any good?
Show in NYC sold out in 2 hours yesterday. Other than NYC and DC, only other show is in Austin, TX. No others scheduled yet.
yea i was wondering the same thing.

i lost intrest in the band after i heard that DM wasnt part of the project.

but i havent followed up on it, so maybe he is on it.
Got my tickets, the cd is great.
I can't make this show but I'll be checking them out during Coachella.
If by DM you mean Danger Mouse, he is involved with the album. He produced it.

The album is fairly incredible in my opinion and I got tickets to this show this morning. It's actually on my birthday. Who wants to hang out at the zoo the day of?

It will be great to see Tony Allen and I hear there may be a Clash song involved in the encore.

Brian
I'm definitely going, have heard great things about them and Im sure its going to sell out….
i wonder if DM will be there?
Webster Hall holds 1400 and sold out in a hurry. I would expect a fast sell out here and I can't wait for the show.
And NYC Metro area probably has five or more times the population as DC Metro area.
OK, so DC tickets will be cheaper on ebay than NYC tickets!
I like this record as well… It's going to take a couple more listens to hear all the layers in this one, but it has the feel of Damon Albarn sitting in with the Clash during the Sandinista recording sessions.
according to pitchfork's review of their show in Bristol, UK, "Guns of Brixton" is the encore. This is your big chance, kids ….
tix still available - weird. maybe DC really is lame

i jumped on 'em as soon as they went on sale, maybe i should have waited and saved on surcharges…
sweetcell: could be a sign of addiction?! j/k
I think it should sell out soon. If it doesn't, hey, it's their loss.

How many chances do you get to see a member of the Clash? Or Tony Allen? That's rarer than seeing the Police. Or a panda at the zoo.

Brian
i dont think people know who makes up this band.

i got stucked in when DM's name was getting thrown into the mix.
Hey Brian,

I saw Big Audio Dynamite, and certainly could have seen Joe Strummer.

What other Clash member would you want to see?

Rhett
sweetcell: could be a sign of addiction?! j/k
guilty! hello, i'm sweetcell and i'm addicted to live music (group response: "welcome, sweetcell, have a $6 yuengling"). right now i'm at step 1: invoking a higher power to help distinguish between good and merely mediocre live shows. after that i move on to step #2, being able to appreciate music from bands that, through no fault of their own, happen to have sold more than 10,000 copies of their last album.

that being said: GB&Q tix still available…
