What's with the expression "Glam Rock" all of a sudden? I listened to that stuff when it was happening and as I recall it was called "Glitter Rock" not "Glam Rock"

"Ziggy Stardust" by David Bowie. Even though they looked glam, the New York Dolls even beat out Bowie in my book, but they were just a rock'n'roll band.
