However…if I was going to scalp concert tickets, I wouldn't be stupid enough to brag about it on the website of the venue.

Unless he wears a big sign that says, "Hi, i'm Grover. I scalped one ticket, go ahead and kick me." to the show, I don't think he's got much to sweat about.

because these parasites are making it harder and more expensive for me to engage in my favorite pasttime - going to concerts. i get shut out of shows because assholes in north dakota buy up half the tickets.

is this one kid, hoping to scalp a single ticket (good luck with that, btw, i doubt you'll get much for it) going to ruin my concert-going experience for that one show? no, of course not. but that behavior should be called out and discouraged as often as possible. this isn't the first time that someone has joyful told us that they scalp - it's as if it never occured to them that it's a slimey thing to do. i'm uncertain if tirades are going change the way they feel about it, but at least they will have been exposed to the other point of view - with some passion to boot.
